These clamp stands allow one to clamp small workpieces, and also act as jacks to hold larger work above the bench. The support is H-shaped, which allows a clamp to reach almost all the surface of the end boards. The stands came in handy at floor level, on the bench, when supporting a long piece on the drill press, and so on. I made the two as accurately as I could, square and identical to within 1/32 or less, so that they would not introduce twist when I used them to support assemblies. They are about 19″ x 11″ x 16″ approximately if I remember correctly, but their exact size is unimportant. They could be made any size that is helpful in the shop.
