This stand allows one to set a height for a laser level and then move it about as gallery work progresses. This stand eliminates the need to poke holes, however small, into the walls, or re-measure reference heights.
This shows the laser level in place. The laser beam is self-levelling, a handy feature.
The height of the laser line, in inches, is visible through the hole in the board. The wing-nuts on the right and left hold the board in place, and can be loosened to slide the board to a different height. The laser level hangs on the shiny screw.
