1959 Chevrolet

The 1959 Chevrolet is one of my favourite car designs. As automotive sculpture, its audacity, harmony and thematic consistency still amaze me.

A dance troupe used this example as a prop on stage. When the performance had completed its run, the owners parked the Chevy on a side street and put it up for sale. That is where I found it, and I sat and sketched it from a few angles.
